His application in 1765 for freedom by redemption in the Goldsmiths Company is endorsed “jeweller”.
He entered a mark at Goldsmiths’ Hall in 1768 as a small worker from New Rents, St Martin le Grand and was assessed to Land Tax there from 1765-68.
He notified a move to Oat Lane in 1769 and was assessed to Land Tax there until 1770. A new tenant occupied the property in 1771.
The next possible reference to him is one of the name assessed to Land Tax in Gough Square, Aldgate from 1778-81.
No later information has been found for him.
