Grimwade noted John Fossey, last known at Lombard Street, died in 1746 and another John Fossey was at Lombard Street from 1746-48. No record has been traced of the death in 1746.
The Will of John Fossey, late goldsmith of All Hallows, Lombard Street, was proved for probate on 11th November 1748 (National Archives reference PROB 11/765/444).
