The marriage in 1725 of Richard Holder to Rebecca Bird at St Bartholomew the Great is probably relevant as they were both from St Nicholas Olave parish (see below).
Their daughter Alison was christened at the same church in 1726.
Walterhead (sic) Bannister of London and Thomas Harding (Grimwade p.535) both signed to be his apprentices in 1734.
His burial on 22nd November 1746 was registered at St Nicholas Olave.
The Will of Richard Holder, goldsmith late of St Martin in the Fields, was proved for probate on 25th November 1746 (National Archives reference PROB 11/750/484).

Holder had a somewhat chequered apprenticeship. First to Thomas Pierce, then turned over two years later to Edmund King . Four months later again turned over, this time to Benjamin Bird . Benjamin promptly died a year later, to be succeeded by his widow Rebekah to whom Holder was almost certainly next turned over to.

Holder obtained his Freedom of the Goldsmiths' and promptly married Rebekah Bird, probably in January or February 1726 (N S)

First and only known mark entered as smallworker at Broad Street Hill
He was , like Benjamin Bird, probably a specialist bucklemaker.
A Stock Clasp buckle has been seen with what is probably a lost register mark of his, dating to the 1740 - 1756 period . He died in late 1746.
