No records have been found to establish the relationship between Ann, John (Grimwade p.304, 340) who died in 1778 and William (Grimwade p.328) who was buried on 12th June 1790 all of whom entered marks at Goldsmiths’ Hall from 104 Gray’s Inn Lane. Also probably related to Robert (not in Grimwade’s book), late of 50 Gray’s Inn Lane who was buried at St Andrew, Holborn in 1781; his Will was proved for probate on 2nd October 1781 and shows he too was a watch case maker.
Ann entered her mark as a watch case maker from 104 Gray's Inn Lane on 30th June 1790, shortly after William had died.
The burial of an Ann Laithwaite aged 82 years, late of Kensington, took place at St Andrew, Holborn in 1822. This church was the one where the burials of John and William had been registered
