PIKE, Benjamin (Grimwade p.289)

He was christened the son of Benjamin and Elizabeth at Aldermanbury Postern Chapel, London in 1765.
He applied for freedom by patrimony in the Musicians Company in 1796.
He entered a mark in 1802 at Goldsmiths’ Hall as a small worker from 48 Blue Anchor Row, Bunhill Fields from where he was assessed to Land Tax from 1792-1821. Samuel Pike (Grimwade p.318) entered a mark at Goldsmiths’ Hall from the address in 1807. The property was empty in 1822.
