Page 141 of Watchmakers and Clockmakers of the World lists him as apprenticed in 1683 and free in the Clockmakers Company from 1691 to 1715.
He entered a mark around 1698 at Goldsmiths’ Hall from Mulberry Court, Coleman Street, probably as a case maker.
The Will of William Finch, late of St Stephen, Coleman Street, proved for probate on 4th December 1728 may be relevant (National Archives reference PROB 11/626/227).
