DAVYS, Theophilus (Grimwade p. 320)

Theophilus, the son of Fernandino Davys deceased of Dublin, was apprenticed to William Marshall of the Clockmakers Company in 17 February 1736 (OS) and free in 5 April 1744.
He married Mary Marshall at All Hallows, London in 1743 and was assessed to Land Tax on property in Cock Lane, St Sepulchre, Holborn from 1744-46.
He entered a mark in 1758 at Goldsmiths’ Hall from King Street, Seven Dials.
Henry Bourne signed to be his apprentice in 1761.
No later information has been found for him.
