Postby MCB » Tue Jun 11, 2013 4:19 am

He paid Duty for the apprentice indentures of Benjamin Spenser in 1715.
He had entered a mark in 1729 at Goldsmiths’ Hall from Foster Lane and was assessed to Land Tax there until 1769
Thomas Welder, also a silversmith, was assessed on the property from 1770. No evidence has been found of the family relationship between Samuel and Thomas nor further information for Samuel.
