Sebille and Langford were first assessed to Land Tax on property in St Martin le Grand precinct in 1763 and continued there until 1770. A new tenant took over in 1771.
There are christening records for three children of John and Elizabeth Sebille at St James, Clerkenwell from 1771-1781 but no details of their address or their father’s occupation are shown.
The mark entered in partnership with James Jones II from 9 Clerkenwell Close in 1798 could relate to John Sebille senior or his son John Peter born in 1771.
