A document dated 24 May 1737 dealt with his petition for Freedom of the City.
As Grimwade reported Sarson was turned over in 1734 to Richard (reported as Edward by Grimwade) Burcombe (Grimwade p.454) of the Leathersellers Company. Burcombe’s business failed in April 1736 leaving Sarson with no master for the remaining eight months of his apprentice term.
The Court granted his freedom by redemption in the Goldsmiths Company.
