He married Sarah Nunny at St James, Clerkenwell in 1812; both were from that parish.
Christenings of their children at St Leonard, Shoreditch recorded their address in 1814 as Three (Colt?) Court, in 1816-18 as Worship Street. All records show John as a silversmith.
He entered a mark at Goldsmiths Hall in 1819 as a spoon maker from 37 John Street, Blackfriars Road.
Christenings of their children at Christ Church, Southwark in 1820-32 record he had continued as a silversmith from the previous address.
His burial in 1832 aged 41 years, late of John Street, was recorded at the same church.
