George Giles marriage bond to Sarah Davis which was done at All Hallows Parish on 8 April 1760 has no family information, but it does record George as a silversmith on Lombard Street. This seems likely to be related to the marriage contract that ultimately resulted in a small fine for George before he was to be granted redemption in the company of Haberdashers in 1761.

The IGI gives the following

George Giles
England, Marriages, 1538—1973
marriage 10 Apr 1760 Saint Lawrence Jewry And Saint Mary Magdalene Milklondont,London,London,England
spouse Sarah Davis

Milklondont is probably a corruption by the LDS of Milk Street , London.

If anyone has details of the lady, I would very much like them. Particularly her status as spinster widow etc

The marriage license shows that Sarah Davis was a spinster and her parish church was St Lawrence Jewry at the time of the marriage. That's all I can find so far.

Sarah Davis's marriage record at Saint Lawrence Jewry does show her as a spinster.
