He was christened at St Mary, Aldermanbury in 1738; his mother was Sarah.
In 1763 he took William Brockwell (Grimwade p.450) as an apprentice.

George Giles marriage bond to Sarah Davis which was done at All Hallows Parish on 8 April 1760 has no family information, but it does record George as a silversmith on Lombard Street. This seems likely to be related to the marriage contract that ultimately resulted in a small fine for George before he was to be granted redemption in the company of Haberdashers in 1761.

The marriage license shows that Sarah Davis was a spinster and her parish church was St Lawrence Jewry at the time of the marriage. That's all I can find so far.

Sarah Davis's marriage record at Saint Lawrence Jewry does show her as a spinster.
