He married Mary Hayward at St James, Duke’s Place in 1694.
Their son John was christened at St Botolph, Aldersgate in 1703.
Joseph Simpson of London signed indentures to be his apprentice in 1696, Samuel Edlen of Watford in 1703 and Joseph Jenkin of London in 1715.
He was listed as a goldsmith in the 1722 Electoral Register for London.
He died in 1724. His will dated in 1720 left his estate to his wife Mary and two daughters Elizabeth and Mary.
