Indentures were signed in 1709 by Edward Hatton (or Fallon) of St Martin in the Fields to be his apprentice.
He paid Duty as a goldsmith in 1731 for the apprentice indentures of Lewis Ourry of Jersey (Grimwade p.610, 761).
His son Augustin signed indentures in 1732 to be the apprentice of Stephen Goujon of the Clockmakers Company. He was made free in 1748
There is an error in Grimwade’s text regarding the year his son Augustin was christened. His christening was recorded on 24th July 1718 at Glasshouse Street and Leicester Fields French Huguwest, Westminster rather than on the same date in 1728. Son Augustin is recorded on page 68 of Watchmakers and Clockmakers of the World.
