CLAUSEN, Nicholas (Grimwade p.466, 741)

Postby MCB » Mon Jan 14, 2013 6:05 am

He signed a bond in 1705 saying he was 34 years of age and intended to marry, with her parents consent, Mary Weaver aged 19 years at St Martin in the Fields or St Clement Dane or St Mary Magdalene, Old Fish Street (a somewhat unappealing address!). The record of an actual marriage has not come to hand. The couple were both from St Martin’s parish.
He paid Duty in 1712 for the apprentice indentures of Charles son of John Perrier and in 1719 of Philip (Grimwade p.627, 763) son of Peter Platell, Goldsmith deceased.
No further information has been found for him.
