Christenings at St Anne and St Agnes between 1747 and 1768 of five children of Benjamin and Mary Catherine Gignac were recorded without further detail.
From 1759-70 his neighbour in Dean’s Court, Aldersgate had been Joseph Clare II (Grimwade p.465).
He was assessed to Land Tax on property there from 1755-89, the last year he appears in the records. A different tenant was assessed on the property from 1790 indicating Gignac had either retired from business there or died.
