He was christened at St John the Baptist, Clerkenwell in 1780, the son of Richard and Mary.
His marriage to Jane Lewis was at Christ Church, Spitalfields in 1801.
A maker’s mark was entered at Goldsmiths Hall in 1814 as a pendant maker from 26 Goswell Street and he notified a change of address to 9 Cross Street, Curtain Row in 1816.
The 1841 UK Census shows him at Peters Lane, St Sepulchre parish as a watch maker.
His burial, late of the Workhouse, was recorded at St James, Clerkenwell in 1847.
