He was born around 1785 in Greenwich.
He entered his first maker’s mark at Goldsmiths Hall in 1828 as a case worker from 21 Bartholomew Terrace, St Luke’s parish and notified various changes of address in the same area 1829-42.
In 1841 he was living in Rahere Street and in 1851 at 30 Wellington Street, St Luke, still working as a watch case maker.
His death was recorded at the St Luke Registry in 1863.
