PURVER, Sarah (Grimwade p.634)

She married Thomas Purver (Grimwade p.637) at St George, Bloomsbury in 1792.
He had entered a maker’s mark at Goldsmiths Hall in 1814 from 2 Clerkenwell Close
Thomas Purver died in 1817.
She entered a maker’s mark at Goldsmiths Hall in 1817 from the same address.
She married William Schofield (Grimwade p.653) in November 1820.
He entered a maker’s mark at Goldsmiths Hall in 1820 from the same address.
The burial of Sarah Schofield in 1845 aged 70 years, late of Northampton Street, was recorded at St James, Clerkenwell.

William and Sarah Schofield are shown in the 1841 U K Census in Middlesex County, St Luke Parish, Old Street Registration District on Wellington Street. William's occuption is listed as silversmith. Neither was born in Middlesex County. Both are about age fifty.

8 April 1792 Thomas Purver and Sarah Shaw both of the Parish of Saint George Bloomsbury were married there. Witnesses were John and Elizabeth Shaw.
