He married Sophia Ring of St George parish, Southwark at St James, Piccadilly in 1812.
The christening record of son John at St James, Piccadilly in 1816 shows his father as a jeweller at Berwick Street.
The christening record of daughter Maria Frances at St Luke, Chelsea in 1819 shows her father as a jeweller at Black Hands Lane.
The christening record of son William at St Anne, Soho in 1822 shows his father as a jeweller at Compton Street.
The christening record of daughter Elizabeth Anne at St Giles in the Fields in 1834 shows her father as a jeweller at Denmark Street.
The entry in Grimwade’s Goldworkers list for Samuel Ruddock of Denmark Street in 1831 which has been supposed to be by a son therefore appears incorrect.
The burial of Samuel Ruddock aged 53 years was recorded at St Giles in the Fields in 1837; his last address was Denmark Street.
The 1841 UK Census shows his widow and family still at Denmark Street where son John was a jeweller and son William was an apprentice.
