Trade Directory entries 1779-90 record him as a goldsmith and jeweller at 66 Newgate Street and 1784-91 as a jeweller at 146 Cheapside.
He and his wife Ann were witnesses to their son Robert’s marriage at St Vedast, Foster Lane in 1803.
