FREETH, Henry (Grimwade p.515)

Postby MCB » Tue Feb 28, 2012 5:45 am

Christening records at St James, Clerkenwell 1818-28 for 5 children of Henry and Charlotte Freeth show their address as Little Sutton Street, Clerkenwell and their father as a plater.
The 1841 UK Census records the same address where Henry is shown as a silversmith.
The 1851 UK Census records him in the same trade but living at 8 Salisbury Street, Kentish Town, St Pancras. The record shows he was born in Birmingham around 1789.
The England & Wales Death Index for Pancras Registry has an entry in 1853 for a Henry Freeth which may be relevant. These records do not show age at death or last address.
