Inland Revenue Board of Stamps transcript 4/14 of 1715 records the apprenticeship of a William Judd ,son of Samuel Judd, late of Chatham ,Goldsmith to Maurice Boheme Citizen and Goldsmith for a premium of £20. Boheme was well recorded as a specialist silver bucklemaker. This Judd may be the William Judd who married Elizabeth Marriott ( viewtopic.php?f=74&t=36929 ) in 1741 at St Leonard, Shoreditch or he may be the father of this William Judd .
