He entered a maker’s mark at Goldsmiths Hall in 1824 as a goldworker from 11 Castle Street, Falcon Square which was also John Gibbs’ address from 1812.
Christenings of four of their children born 1818-24 were recorded in 1827 at St Giles without Cripplegate. Their father was shown as a goldsmith at the Castle Street address.
Another maker’s mark was entered from the same address in 1834.
