Duty paid in 1779 and in 1784 as a jeweller from St George the Martyr parish for Apprentice Indentures of Thomas Andrew and Edward Bent respectively.
Trade Directory entries as a jeweller at 14 Red Lion Passage 1785-90.
Two entries have been traced regarding the death of Philip Passavant:
Musgrave’s Obituaries prior to 1800 part 3-4 records a death on 13th October 1790 of a jeweller of that name aged 88 years;
A burial record at St Pancras Old Church dated 6th December 1802 in which no other details are recorded.
