Goldworkers List (Section VII).

Born around 1792 in London.
1841 UK Census for 9 Magdelene Row, Goodman’s Fields, Whitechapel as a jeweller aged 49 years.
1851 UK Census for 44 Bedford Square, St Giles as a wholesale jeweller and watch manufacturer.
Probably died 1851.
England & Wales Death Index for St Giles register dated 4th quarter 1851. Age at death and last address are not recorded.

The Will of Phineas Nathan, merchant late of St Giles in the Fields, was proved for probate on 25th November 1851 (National Archives reference PROB 11/2142/226).
