He married Sarah Edmonds at St Bride’s, Fleet Street in 1812; both were from that parish.
Christening records of four sons at St Leonard, Foster Lane in 1813-20 show their address as Shaftsbury Place and their father as a jeweller.
He was made free by redemption in the Fanmakers Company in 1821. The application form is endorsed “working jeweller”.
He entered a maker's mark at Goldsmiths Hall in 1823 as a gold worker from 44 Barbican.
The christening record of another son at St Leonard's in 1824 and Land Tax assessments show him at Barbican until his death in 1837.
