Born c1784 in Essex.
1841 UK Census for Avenue Road, St Marylebone as a silversmith aged 50 years.
1851 UK Census for 1 Avenue Road, Marylebone as a silversmith aged 63 years.
1861 UK Census for 9 Avenue Road, St Marylebone as a silversmith aged 75 years.
Died 14th September 1866.
London Deaths & Burials Index for St James, St Pancras dated 22nd September 1866. Aged 82 years.
National Probate Calendar Principal Registry dated 5th November 1866. Last address Arlesford, Essex late of 99 Strand. Value of estate under £12000.

2 November 1798 Edward son of Joseph Stammers of Brightlingsea in the County of Essex turner apprenticed to James Priest cutler of London.

20 October 1807 Edward Stammers was made free of the company of cutlers by servitude.

In an effort to find the grave of Edward Stammers, I visited the church at Arlesford, only to find that it was gutted by fire in 1971.

A search of the graveyard revealed nothing. As to whether the records of burials were saved from the fire, it is unknown to me.
