Christening record for St Olave, Southwark dated 7th November 1762; father Thomas.
The Forum Contributors' Notes under the topic "Jeweler & Lager Beer Saloon" shows Lockwood as a goldsmith & undertaker in 1808.
Died 1835.
London Deaths & Burials Index for St James, Clerkenwell registry dated 17th December 1835. Aged 73; last address Chapel Lodge.

Holden's Annual London & Country Directory of the United Kingdoms & Wales for the year 1811 lists a Richard Lockwood undertaker at Collier St, Pentonville. Apparently, Richard Lockwood had left the goldsmithing trade altogether by this time.
