The Small Addition of the Post Office London Directory a comprehensive directory in 1843 listed Mahala Jago as a silversmith at 6 Tabernacle Row, City Road which is in line with the her suspected death date.

Mahala Bunn married James Jago (Grimwade p.559, 755) at St Luke, Finsbury in 1808. She was a spinster from that parish.
