DUGARD, Thomas & SIMPSON, David (Grimwade p.380)
It would appear that Thomas Dugard was in business at Red Lion Street prior to this partnership. At an Old Bailey trial held in April 1821, Dugard described himself as a 'working jeweller' of Red Lion Street, and makes no mention of a partner, a fact usually recorded at these trials.
A journeyman of Thomas Dugard, one William Ashwell, at one point during the trial, describes Dugard's premises as a 'factory'.
Heal makes no mention of Dugard or Simpson.
