1782 sun 1 299 24\07\78 jt Policy Number 454973 Insured Value £200
Insured Brook Walker, Silversmith, No 14, Featherstone Buildings , Holborn
(for some reason this only appears on London Lives on the search for "Policy Number 454973")

1786 SUN 1 339 17\9\79 ML Policy Number 521138 Insured Value £300
Insured Brook Walker, Silversmith ,6, Queen Court, Great Queen Street

6th June 1788
Moved recorded by Goldsmiths Hall, still as bucklemaker, to 6, Queen Court, Great Queen Street, Lincolns Inn Fields
However from the Sun insurance policy taken out in 1786 he had actually moved two years prior to this. The dates of moves given by Grimwade are probably only the date notified to Goldsmiths Hall.

It is possible that Elizabeth Higgs was the daughter of Edward & Mary Higgs who was baptised on 8 January 1758 at Saint Leonards, Shoreditch. This Edward Higgs could be one of the two recorded as bucklemakers.(who may be the same person)
IGI records a son, christened Brook Walker 19th October 1789 at Tabernacle Ind St Luke, Finsbury, London. He who married Caroline Matilda Alder on 28th April 1811 at Saint Martin In The Fields, Westminster . Their son , another Brook Walker , was christened 7th March 1819 at St Sepulchre, London,

Hello Clive
IGI also records a Non-Conformist burial of a Brook Walker on 6th April 1797 at Finsbury. The fact that the Tabernacle Ind. St Luke Finsbury is mentioned in your text as the place where Brook Walker's son was christened suggests there is a connection.

This gentleman is shown as a grocer in his children's birth records on old Street and in his 1797 proved will.

28 November 1798
The will of Edward Higgs Saint Leonard Shoreditch London was proved at London at PCC [TNA / PROB 11/1315/235]
In it Higgs' daughters Mary Thurgood and Elizabeth Walker inherited his house on Paul Street, confirming the likely origin of Walker's wife Elizabeth.
