Very Difficult!!! Help me

Hy,
my name is Alessia and I'm from Italy and I need help about a misterious silver glass.
Three years ago I bought in Croazia a small silver glass.
The makers mark's it's very nice but I don't know it.
The mark in the photo represent G & C over a bunch of grapes (?) over a star.
I don't know if it's by French or by British or by other countries but in the glass is represented only one silver mark's : a head of sovraine (for duty??).
I would know the age of object and the name of makers mark's.

But what's the age of object?
The mark (head) is Minerva Large Guarantee or Small Guarantee?
I don't see very well the head in the photo.... sorry :(
And you have knwoldge of maker mark?

Hello Alessia.
The shape of the cartouche (outline) of the Minerva mark makes me think this mark indicates a fineness of .950.
There should also be the number 1 by the forehead.
This mark has been in use since 1838.



I don't know for sure who used that maker's mark.
One possibility is Gabert & Conreau of Paris. They started using their mark around 1901.
