We have a very large spoon with the large guarantee Minerva and a maker's mark we'd like to identify. We would also like an opinion on just exactly what kind of serving spoon this is ... our first thoughts are either a pasta/macaroni server or a master berry spoon. We are leaning towards the pasta thing because of the notches around the perimeter of the spoon. It has a very deep bowl and I tried to get good photos of it.
I've done my best to get good shots of the Minerva and the maker's mark ... short of hammering the bowl flat, this is the best I could do! The maker's mark has a star over the initials S H [or H S?] and below the initials is a sun.
