Makers mark

Post by Cocoloco »

Hi!
I am new here and so happy to found this amazing community.
I hope if someone can help as I have been doing a research on this topic for months.
There are some chanel handbags with hallmark engraving on the lock
I would like to know if anyone has any idea what these marks mean.
I don’t know how to add pictures :’(

The thing is, I did read your post!! Not never read it!
But you don’t understand that some ppl like me are not pro like you! And I don’t understand what’s the meaning of what you typed!
I tried my best and that was the results.
Hello f you ask me about leather I can tell you the details to every grain of it! But that’s my profession!
Unbelievable how ppl treat each other just because they feel that they know better or they can’t understand that we are all different.
It took me 2 hours to upload these pictures! I TRIED to understand your message after I screenshot it to follow your rules.
I was so excited about your page, definitely not anymore.
Stay blessed after you delete this message.

Hi,

No, I'm not going to delete your message.

We are trying to help you, and if you needed further help, you only had to ask.

This is what your image should have looked like:

If you can tell us the full wording marked on the buckle, that may help.

Please start a new topic with your other item.

Hello
Am reluctant to get into the drama of this post, but think I might add something of interest to the OP. The mark in the square reserve indicates gold plating over a base metal. It is not vermeil. If a more focused picture is provided, perhaps you could see the thickness of the plating, expressed in microns. For the clasp of a handbag, you’d expect 3 microns.
I also could shed light on the question regarding Chanel clasps if the poster decides to return.
Regards.
