Italian/French ladle

Post by amena »

Hi all
I found this large ladle (weighs more than 300g) and after some research, I identified the mark on the left in the photo, as the mark of Hyacinte Favre, assayer of the Chambery mint from 1760. In the book it is not specified until when. There is no match instead of the one on the right of the photo, presumably the silversmith's mark.

In fact, given that Savoy was ceded to France in 1860, information on Italian texts is scarce and incomplete.
Does anyone recognize this mark?
And more generally, can anyone tell me if there is a well-documented book on the Savoy silversmiths?
Thanks

Thanks to the courtesy of Mrs. Caremier of the Mesèe Savoisien of Chambery, I was able to identify the book
Les orfevres de Savoie by Gerard Cassan.
I was unable to consult the book, which is present in very few libraries, but I was able to obtain a photocopy of the page where the silversmith's mark of Jan-Francois Dembourg appears.
Among the accompanying news, there is one that allows us to date his death to before 7 December 1779
