i wonder what would be the origen? and whether it was used for serving fish or pie.

i recently puraches this but the seller didn't know either

Hello
You have an export mark for French 800 standard silver, and what appears to be a counter mark or “bigorne.” You don’t show a maker’s mark.
This object could be for serving frozen desserts, or a cheese knife, depending on length.
