Hello Again All. I'm also having a bit of difficulty with this one. I'm not sure I'm even in the correct section.
Besides the 3 clear marks, there is also a somewhat faded initials mark off to the right, which looks to me like ?R.
The Spoon measures 8 1/4 inches and weighs 55 grams.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Re: Large Spoon B Mark
Hi Moonshine
I'm not an expert at all in French silver, but I think you have the right section. The top mark looks to be the provincial fineness mark for 800 silver, 1819-1838 (the shape of the cartouche is quite distinctive). That would leave the guarantee mark (the oval shape at the bottom) and the maker's mark in the middle.
I'll wait for a proper expert to confirm/expand/reject as appropriate - I'll place any blame on the fact that I just received in the post today my first ever copy of Tardy!
Cheers
