Apologies, I was having problems posting the photo's. The makers mark, has the letters D.T either side of a large winged bird with it's wings down, head facing to the right. It also has the Minerva with number one.

Please remember that you are far more likely to get a response if you embed your images as very few people will click on such links.

Dear Villaret2,

Someone who occurs more frequently with the Makers Mark “DT” in losange horizontal in Chalices is Donat Thomassin
But can not find it in the register of makers Marks

Search the Internet for: Poinçon de l'orfèvre Donat Thomassin

If I find out I'll let you know again
Perhaps a step in the right direction

Regards
Dendriet

You'll also find him under this name:

Calice Poinçon de l'orfèvre Donat Thomasson

Hi Jean-Jacques,

Welcome to the Forum.

It would be great to have information regarding Douat Thomasson and I'm sure such details would be of interest to many of our members.

Perhaps you would be kind enough to start a topic in the 'Contributors' Notes' section of the forum and you could add the information there as you wish.

We're looking forward to reading your posts.

Yes, I confirm that the mark D+eagle+T is the one of "Donat Joseph THOMASSON", so said Donat THOMASSON, died on 4th of Septembre 1954 (and not 1953 as oftenly said).
I am the grand son of Donat THOMASSON and got numerous documents (schemas, drawings, photos) about the artwork of this jeweller.
You can also find these two marks : DTH and "Fra + Donat" on some objects.

Please, you can contact me for more information or details.

Regards
Jean-Jacques Thomasson
