Looking for information about this fork

Postby juantotree » Wed Mar 23, 2016 8:21 am

Hi,

Below is a fork that is struck 3 times with a makers mark of I.A above D all below a crowned fleur de lys. I am wondering if it could be French Colonial or possibly Channel Islands, but can find no likely candidates. I found an old post with a similarly struck spoon, albeit by a different maker, please see viewtopic.php?f=7&t=34462&p=88944&hilit=fleur+de+lys#p88944 Any help would be most appreciated.
