An Austrian spoon?

Here is a tea spoon which I think may be Austrian. There is a head with no numbers around it and GD with a cross between the letters and a sun beneath. Does anyone know something about it?

It is very difficould to see the head. You suggest Austria but normally they include a figure 1 to 4 for 950/1000m to 750/1000 and a letter for the town.
Does your head look like this?
I dont know how to add a picture. And I can see that I am not able to do so. And I dont know how to delete my post.
Try to post a better picture of head. I think it might be France or Paris.

Definitely French, with the French first standard (.950) silver "head of Minerva" mark. The maker's mark is that of flatware maker Guillaume Denière fils, dit Deninger (i.e., Guillaume Denière, Jr., known as Deninger) of Paris. This particular mark of his was registered on 16 Dec 1850 and cancelled 9 Mar 1855, giving a very narrow date for your spoon.
