The maker of your dessert knives is J. Boitin, cutler, working in Paris at 29, boulevard Poissonnière. The mark was registered in 1815-1816, and the maker was still listed in 1822. No end of activity date is given. See Arminjon, V. I, no. 01557, p. 175.
