Chocolatier?

Postby silverstork » Wed Jun 15, 2011 11:56 am

Hey, i found this nice piece of silver in a shop recently. Could someone tell me how old it could be? The initials in the makers mark are 'cboin'. The other stamp is the french 950 stamp, but upside down.

Hi,
The mark in a losenge stands for Georges Boin (1868-1881). Descendant of 3 generations of jewellers. Succeeded by Emile Taburet, 3 rue Pasquier Paris. Associated in 1873.
Successors Henri Frères & Cie.
Regards
