Hello-
Have had this wine taster for a little while and have wanted to get the full story. I am unsure whether this is an early French piece or Hanau pseudo marks. Has snake handle and knight crest design. On bottom there are three hallmarks as shown, a scrolled L, G with a crown and PM with a crown and possibly a head below. On the handle there is the mark of a decanter or pitcher. The side is engraved Helft-Nantes which is later added. Underneath as it appears to have been filled and is hard to see in pictures it reads P M Rouillion 1798 V S, all separated by stars. It looks to me like an older French piece rather than Hanau but I look forward to some help.
Thanks
Pauline
