I recently acquired the a Timbale/Beaker from Jean-
Nicholas Boulanger. It only had 2 hallmarks. Boulanger's Maker Mark and another mark similar to the 1st standard Boar's Head used in 1797 with the exception that it is facing to the left instead of the right. I understand the he was active during the revolution when standards were in transition 1789 - 1798.
Is anyone familiar with this hallmark ? I do have photos, but do not have a place to upload them, but I can email them to anyone who can.
Thank you
