Hi Everybuddy,

It's French, it's pretty and it's Nice.

But who is the maker and what's its age?

Hi Top Cat,
Difficult to find which maker only with the Maltese cross clue. And the picture is a bit fuzzy. Could you make out the initials?
Looking at your spoon I am a bit surprised: is the Minerva's head located on the left and the lozenge mark on the right? This would be highly unusual as it would be a violation of the French hallmarking regulations.
Regards,
Dinio

Hi Dinio,

Thanks for taking the time to look at the images. I've managed to get my digital microscope working and hopefully these are better pictures. As you look at the spoon with the tip of the bowl as South and the coat of arms as North, the Minerva head 2 is East and the Maltese cross is West. I think I can make out the initials
C P either side of the cross, but can't be 100% certain.

Many thanks for your efforts.

I think you should mirror the second picture horizontaly one more time to get it right.
But I can´t help you with the CP or LP or what ever may be right.
