Salt spoon mark.....

Perhaps someone can make out this mark, have never been able to figure it out even under intense magnification - maybe it's just my rapidly failing eyesight. Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Hi Cheryl,
I read the initials as JG, there is one Jules Goubault, Paris 1906-1920, using the symbol of (bit of a stretch here) an apple.
