makers mark if possible

Post by Rayvenini »

well i think it's a napkin holder, it measures 2" across and just under 1.5" high, it's from the 1st world war and dated xmas 1916, from uncle stanley on active service in france, december 25th 1916 philip b clay, just wondering if anyone knows the makers mark if possible as it's not very well stamped, it looks like the 1st letter could be an E, apart from that i've not got a clue
