I may be wrong, but it looks like a commercial for pure gold (silver) of actual lower fineness and a bit, just a bit harder than pure metal.

Thank you AG2012. Sorry for the delay in responding to your reply. From the little I could find about this grade, it relates to gold that is refined to the point that the only impurity left is silver, so it is not generally necessary to continue refining it. I don't consider this the last word on the subject. Any other inputs are welcome.
